Like father, like son

they say, and they're often right. The evidence within my family suggested that this was indeed the case, as my grandfather and father were both alcoholics who died young. Being told that I had bad blood as a child led me to believe quite fervently that I was cursed to replay his fate. 

This can play tricks on one's mind. It can lead to a certain jumpiness of the spirit that I will attempt to bring to life for you in the following pages.
