THE SNORING TAPE AND OTHER LOST TREASURES

Every time I open an old box, I always think I'm going to find more of his stuff somewhere. A treasure trove of stuff I've had all along that I don't know about.

Rooting around garage for thing I've lost but find that I've miraculously "displaced" instead. Something to replace the things of his I've had and lost.

What would happen if I could find that tape? That reel-to-reel? I might be able to bring back the whole history of our family. To re-enter it and understand it with a sympathy for my father (and for myself) that I don't have now.
