Dear Reader:

This path is about my relationship with pills of various kinds over the years. Though I loathe the idea of "leaving things up to the reader," I feel I have no choice but to do so in this instance. My own feelings are so conflicted, and my shame so intricately layered, that I don't know which of the selves below is telling the truth. 

So I leave the task of figuring out this relationship up to you, hoping that it will replicate the process I undergo each time I think about the role of prescription medications in my life.
