OCTET IN HONOR OF MY PROLETARIAN HYPOCRISY

Such a history, proletarianism and me…. I treat it like a whore. Embrace it when I need to, then repudiate it. Come running back in desperation and need to slake my own desires, then pretend I never knew it.

Didn't Dante have a special circle in hell for people like that? I wonder if I can get out of that circle through the magic of meta-cognition. If I can expiate that particular sin by turning it into something like music….
